Who We Are

St. Valentine School is operated by St. Valentine Parish as a self-governing unit which cooperates with the Office for Catholic Schools Archdiocese of Detroit. St. Valentine School provides an important service to the Parish Community. It is housed in buildings owned and maintained by the Parish and actively fulfills its mission through common facilities, philosophy, and Catholic teachings. The Parish, Pastor and Parish Council facilitate operations of the school through the School Principal, and the School Advisory Committee.

St. Valentine School exists to offer a quality Catholic education for families of St. Valentine Parish and its surrounding communities, as established by the Archdiocese of Detroit.

The St. Valentine School of Redford, MI admits students of any sex, race, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities accorded all students at the facility. It does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its hiring, personnel and educational policies, admissions, athletic and other school administered programs, as required by the terms of Title IX of the Education Act of 1972, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1984.

Accreditation

St. Valentine School is accreditted by MNSAA.
The Michigan Non-Public School Accrediting Association (MNSAA) was founded in 1985 to provide an avenue for a non-public school to develop and maintain high standards of excellence.

St. Valentine School is a member of Michigan Green Schools, an agency dedicated to assisting all Michigan schools - public and private - achieve environmental goals which include protecting the air, land, water and animals of our state along with world outreach through good ecological practices and the teaching of educational stewardship of students pre-kindergarten through senior high school.
