St. Valentine School
SCRIP Program

In 2000, the St. Valentine School Advisory Committee established a SCRIP Program to give school families an opportunity to raise money for tuition.

1. Participation in the SCRIP Program is strictly voluntary and there is no limit to the amount an individual family can earn.

2. Tuition dollars can be earned through SCRIP.

3. SCRIP is sold year-round, through the school office during the school year and through the rectory office during the summer. To order, fill out and submit a current order form with payment. Forms are available in the school office and in the rectory office during the summer. Check the office or the Great Lakes SCRIP Center (www.glscrip.com) for current merchant policies. The deadline to submit orders is noon on Monday. Orders for SCRIP will be placed on Monday afternoon and will be available for pickup on Friday morning. Families earn the value of the discount for each SCRIP purchase.

4. St. Valentine will reconcile each family account upon registration for the next school year. Each participating family will have the following options for the disbursement of their SCRIP Program balance:
   1. A donation of all or part of the balance to St. Valentine School or Church,
   2. A check for all or part of the balance issued to the family by St. Valentine,
   3. Application of all or part of the balance to the family's tuition bill.
