Classroom News:

The mission of St. Valentine Catholic School is to provide a Catholic education based on: Values rooted in Catholic teachings, Academic excellence, Love and respect for all, and a Strong community in Christ.

Our school year theme is "Christ Be Our Light"

Dear Families,

We have entered the third trimester for this school year.  The new math program has been challenging for the students, but has helped to push them above and beyond.  They are working hard and have accomplished so much already this school year.  Let's keep it going the rest of the year!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at cmaes@stvalentineschool.com.

Reflection of Faith:

Matthew 6:6 - “But when you pray, go to your private room, shut yourself in, and so pray to your Father who is in that secret place, and your Father who sees all that is done in secret will reward you.”

Prayer is a great time to reflect on things going on in your life.  I use prayer as a time for asking God to pray for those that need it.  It also helps me through tough times as things happen in my life.  As I am struggling, prayer helps me work through and process my emotions.  I feel closer to God as I pray and closer to my faith community.

Teaching at a Catholic school is something I take pride in.  I want to share my faith and experiences with my students.  I value the education I can give my students, not only in faith, but also in math.  Every day, I learn something new from my students and I hope they learn something from me.
