Welcome to the St. Valentine Library Media Center!

Hi, my name is Mrs. Kelly and I am the Library Technician at St. Valentine School. I would like to take this time to explain a few programs and features of the St. Valentine Library. I will be keeping you updated through out the year regarding Scholastic Book Fairs, Author Visits, March is Reading Month activities and other exciting events the Library sponsors.

Accelerated Reader

To see if a book is an AR book just go to www.arbookfind.com and enter the title you are looking for and it will give you the reading level, point value, and a short annotation of the book.  You can access this at home, at the public library, or at school!   

Scholastic Book Fairs

Fall Book Fair: November 14-22, 2022. Open during school hours, 8:00am-3:30pm

Spring Book Fair: March 20-24, 2023.

Students visit the book fair during their regularly scheduled library class.

March is Reading Month

We will have all sorts of activities scheduled for March is Reading Month such as Author Visits, MadCap Puppet Show, assemblies and other reading events.  I will send home a letter in the VIP folder on the last week of February with all the information needed!
